The FA Cup
We knew it would be the opportunity of a lifetime for us to live in the UK during the football season, but what we didn't know is how much we would want to see or be able to see. Each match we have seen thus far has shown us that we are as passionate for the sport now as we have ever been. This weekend we again take to the road for the love of the game. This time to the Welsh capital of Cardiff, to see a Football Association (FA) Cup 3rd Round match at Ninian Park where Cardiff City FC host Tottenham Hotspur of London.
The FA Cup is a unique tournament that gives all teams in the entire structure of English football a chance of winning the oldest trophy in all of world football. English football has 5-tiers that also includes teams from Wales. The top tier is the Premier League, followed by the League Championship, League 1, League 2 and the Conference, which itself has multiple tiers. This year, the competition is in its 126th year with a total of 687 teams having a chance at glory.
Join us, the match can be seen LIVE on Fox Soccer Channel on Sunday at 11am EST.
